Easy to use BPI® AR Dry™removes AR coatings and returns lenses to their original condition in only a few minutes. The lens can be re-coated with AR, UV treated, or colored with any BPI® tint desired. BPI® AR Dry™ will also remove most hard coats if lenses are treated for prolonged periods of time. The BPI® AR Dry™ kit comprises: safety gloves and goggles, plastic tank with integral lens holder, operational and safety instructions and a pack of BPI® AR Dry™. How to use BPI® AR Dry™
PREPARATION. Carefully open the bottle and pour contents into 1 quart (946 ml) BPI® plastic container. Fill approximately 2/3 full with water and allow to stand for 20 minutes.
EASY TO USE. Wear gloves and safety glasses. Use BPI® plastic lens holder to immerse lenses for no longer than 30 seconds. Remove and rinse well with water. Examine lens for complete removal of AR coating. Repeat if necessary. Thoroughly rinse the lens holder with water when finished.
HARDCOATS. If lenses are left in the solution for longer periods of time, many hardcoats will be removed. To remove hardcoats, immerse lens in AR-Dry™ solution to soften hardcoat. Rinse. Rub with paper towel dipped in alcohol to remove hardcoat. Repeat, if necessary. |
Read MSDS. This product contains acids. Do not allow in contact with skin or clothing. If contact occurs, flush immediately with water. DO NOT INHALE OR INGEST. DO NOT STORE IN GLASS CONTAINERS. Solution in water is corrosive and will etch glass. Store only in a BPI® plastic bottle. DO NOT ALLOW CONTACT WITH METALS. Use ONLY in the 1 quart container provided. Wear gloves & safety goggles during use. Wash hands well after use. Avoid skin and eye contact as severe burns may result. Use only at room temperature by qualified lab personnel. |
