The BPI Lens Finisher is an instrument for finishing, edge polishing and placing a safety bevel on lenses made from CR-39 monomer, polycarbonate or glass. It features a rounded-corner compact design with a pad area engineered so that polishing compounds stay clear of the center shaft area. The instrument has a removable particle tray and a safety shield. The durable white finish makes it easy to maintain. The on/off switch is located at the rear of the instrument. The heavy duty, 1/6th horsepower motor develops 1725 r.p.m. A special thermal motor protector signals an automatic shutoff device if the instrument has been running for an extended period.
